Youth Basketball League

• Ages 5-6 (birth years 2018 & 2019)
• Ages 7-8 (birth years 2016 & 2017)
• Ages 9-10 (birth years 2014 & 2015)
• Ages 11-12 (birth years 2012 & 2013)
• Ages 13-15 (birth years 2009, 2010 & 2011)
• Ages 16-18 (birth years 2006, 2007 & 2008)

* A player's age on January 1, 2025 determines his/her age division eligibility for the entire calendar year.

• 1 pre-season instructional clinic
• 8 scheduled games for the season PLUS playoffs
  • 2 scheduled practices led by experienced trainers
  • 8 scheduled games
    • Pre-game practice - 20 minutes led by team coaches
    • Game - Two (2), fifteen (15) minute halves
  • Playoffs

Roster minimum requirements must be met by each team's first game. Teams are allowed to roster more than the required minimum.  Roster additions cannot be made after game 5. 

• Minimum roster size is 10 players.
• No substitute players permitted

• Weekdays (4:45 PM and later)
• Weekends (7:00 AM and later)

League games are scheduled during school, religious, and national holidays.

• Fall

• All of the players on a team must wear matching jerseys with a permanent number on the back (no tape).  
• If a team is wearing The Sports Arena jerseys, they are available for purchase - $25 per reversible jersey
• Basketball size
  • 5-6 & 7-8 27.5
  • 9-10 28.5
  • All other age groups will be 29.5

Practice days and times are not assigned by the league. The league offers court time before 5 PM on weekdays, but coaches or teams must proactively schedule their own practices by calling The Sports Arena.
